This is a Ted talk by Phil Borges looking at the difference between spiritual emergence and psychosis. He also directed an excellent documentary called CrazyWise, which looks at the phenomena of spiritual awakening and how it is misunderstood as mental illness in our culture. Really beautiful stuff and important information.
